Child & Adolescent Therapy

At Centre of Psychotherapy, we understand that childhood and adolescence are critical developmental stages, filled with emotional, behavioural, and social challenges. Our specialized Child & Adolescent Therapy is designed to support young minds in navigating these formative years with resilience and emotional balance.

Children and teens may not always have the words to express what they’re going through. Emotional outbursts, withdrawal, aggression, anxiety, or academic difficulties may all be signs of deeper concerns. Our goal is to create a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where they can open up, be understood, and feel supported.

Led by Mrs. Kirti Agarwal, a psychologist with over 14 years of experience, we work closely with children and adolescents dealing with a wide range of issues, including:

  • Behavioural concerns like hyperactivity, defiance, or social withdrawal
  • Anxiety, low mood, or emotional instability
  • Academic pressure and exam-related stress
  • Adjustment problems in school or peer groups
  • Parent-child conflicts and communication gaps
  • Low self-esteem or confidence issues

Our therapy approach is age-appropriate, interactive, and collaborative. We use a combination of talk therapy, play techniques, cognitive-behavioural methods, and parental guidance to ensure holistic support. Parents are involved as partners in the process to help reinforce healthy behavioural and emotional patterns at home.

With early identification and timely intervention, most children and adolescents can overcome emotional struggles and thrive both at home and school. At Centre of Psychotherapy, we are committed to nurturing mental well-being from a young age, empowering every child to grow into a confident, emotionally healthy adult.
